And I thought 'poor beggar'..!

Well I had only heard of arrogant beggars but today I met one too! I was at the crossroad in an auto rickshaw waiting for the signal to turn green. And there he was a 10 year old, skinny lil thing…really pale, begging at the signal. I saw him coming towards me and checked my purse to look for some change but I didn’t find any! So I offered him 4 Mango bite toffees and as soon as I gave him immediately the signal turned green. I thought poor thing, he will at least get to eat it otherwise he would have to give all the money to his parents / caretaker.

But to my surprise as soon as my auto started he threw all the toffees back at me and said "money….money, not chocolate…money….money!" I was so shocked by it!I guess the advancement of the metro life changes everything, yes everything (even beggars)…..and I am talking about Bangalore city!
